Roger Francis

Self taught on steel guitar, with the exception of some book and tapes. I started playing in live bands in 1975. For seven years I played with THE WINCHESTER BAND. We toured for about three of those years.
On tour we fronted entertainers such as: CRYSTAL GAYLE, DAVID WILLS, MEL STREET,JACK GREEN, T.G. SHEPARD, MICKEY GILLEY, FREDDIE FENDER, LEE GREENWOOD and THE WINCHESTER CIGAR MAN.

After THE WINCHESTER BAND I played from 1987 to 1994 in the MARK TRIBUNE AND THE ALAMO BAND. We fronted several top artist including CONFEDERATE RAILROAD. We recorded several albums in Indiana and in Nashville in some of the top recording studios.

Since 1987 David Glassburn, Jeff Sheline and myself have played under various band names but we are currently called THE SIDEKIX BAND.

To be involved with such a talented group of musicians such as THE SIDEKIX BAND has been a great pleasure.
