PERSONAL STUFF: I have three children, 7, 11, and 20. I haven't seen the oldest since he was little, but I miss him every day with all of my heart. I have been married to the love of my life for thirteen years. She saved me when I was on the downside, and I owe her eternally for it. I am an outside salesman for Carter's Concrete Block out of Logansport Indiana. I also used to run my own company and crewboss for another large hardscape company. I was a segmental wall builder with close to 80,000 square feet laid under my belt. I love to fish "HARDCORE", and hunt "HARDCORE" !!!!! I grew up in Moore, Oklahoma and miss it a lot. All of my family still lives there.
MUSIC STUFF: I am the lead vocalist for The SideKix Band from Kokomo Indiana. I started singing with them in February of 2008. They are the guys I have waited fourty years to share a stage with. They are truly a blessing, and are so talented that it will blow your mind when you see them live. My history in music began with singin in church at age four, and singin with my cousins band at age five. I played the Oklahoma Opry in my teen years, as well as several honkytonks and beer joints. I had the privilege to work for a good friend, Toby Keith for a couple of years. FUN TIMES and great experience. Thank you Toby. I met a lot of major artists and great friends along the way. You all know who you are. KISS MY ASS CHUCK!!! My brother was one of the original members of the Easy Money Band, and eventually worked in production for several years on the road as well. He helped inspire me, and taught me basic chord progressions on the guitar so that I would be able to write songs and play them as well. I have always been a poet of sorts, and songwriting is where it really works for me. After I moved to Indiana and got married I pretty much quit the dream. I still hacked at it some, but not with alot of heart. In 2006, I decided it was time to go at it again. I'm a little old I think to live the dream, but I figure as long as I am recording, playin honkytonks, and entertaining, I will be satisfied. And hell you never know what life holds in store. So that brings me to where I am today. My mission this time around is to be in one of the top country showbands in the region, and booked in a solid rotation at the biggest honkytonks in the midwest. SideKix is that band. We are on our way up quickly with a solid commitment from the Rodeo Bar-n-Grill. Probably the best cowboy honkytonk I have found since leaving Oklahoma. We are working with booking agents and soliciting promoters to continue the growth. All of this would not be possible without you fans, friends, and especially family. Another reason my wife is so great is that she has never discouraged me from my dream of performing on a large scale. So I have taken her advice and here I come a kickin'.
