David K. Glassburn
(Lead Guitarist) born in Kokomo, Ind.

I started playing music in a band in 1976 under the name of MARK TRIBUNE & THE TRIBUNE SHOW BAND.
We later changed the name to MARK TRIBUNE & THE JADE EAST BAND for just a short while before finally settling on MARK TRIBUNE & THE ALAMO BAND.

During the years as the ALAMO BAND we played music in several clubs in Indiana and in Ohio, Michigan, and Florida. We made countless recordings in Indiana cities, such as Indianapolis, Richmond and Alexandria.   We recorded four albums in Nashville, Tenn. In such studios as THE FIRESIDE owned by Porter Wagner, REFLECTIONS STUDIO and SCRUGG’S STUDIO’S. 

During the session work in Nashville Tenn. I had the opportunity to work with some great musicians such as: 
John Hughey
JOHN HUGHEY: (Steel Guitar) Notable session player for such artist as Vince Gill. 
Brent Mason
BRENT MASON: (Electric Guitar) Notable session player for such artist as Alan Jackson.
TROY LANCASTER: (Electric Guitar) Session player and played on the road with Paul Overstreet.
STEVE SCRUGG’S ( Banjo & Piano).
VAN ARNETZ ( Keyboards) Sessions player and played on the road with Steve Warner.
GREG DOTSON (Drums) Played on Charlie Daniels Talent Round Up on the Nashville Network.
JIMMY CARTER (Bass) Played on Charlie Daniels Talent Round Up) on the Nashville Network.
Dennis Wilson ( Background Vocals).
Just to name a few. 


As the ALAMO BAND we opened for such acts as:

THE FOUR GUY’S 
Porter Wagoner
PORTER WAGONER 


We played behind such people as: 


Tommy Collins
TOMMY COLLINS (Song writer for such people as Merle Haggard). 
Terry Stafford
TERRY STAFFORD ( Singer and songwriter. #1 song “Suspicion” and wrote “Amarillo by Morning” for George Strait.) 
Narvel Felts
NARVEL FELTS (He had eight #1 songs such as “Mountain of Love” and “Lonely Teardrops”. 
Mike Lunsford
MIKE LUNSFORD (He had several top ten songs like “While The Feelings Good” and “Honey Hungry”) and countless others. 


I started playing guitar for the COLT RIVER BAND in spring of 1995. 


We changed the bands name in 1996 to THE SIDEKIX BAND and have continued to record and play our music. We opened a show for Clinton Gregory in Nashville at the Marriott. 

Things seem to get better, I just seem to get older.
