Mike Lunsford who had the biggest record of 1976 with "Honey Hungry" died Sunday April 16, 2006. "While The Feeling's Good" was another of several top ten hits. Jeff Sheline and David Glassburn of The SideKix Band played as his back-up band too many times to count. He was great guitar player , and a singer's singer.

The SideKix Band had a great time playing at The Post in Pierceton Indiana. This was our third trip back to this legendary club. This stage has been home to some of the best country bands in the midwest for decades. We are honored to have earned the opportunity to follow in their footsteps. We are grateful to all of our friends who made the short trip up to see the show. There is just something special about this room that really seems to bring out the best in all of us. Music has been a big part of my life. I am a writer, and I play several instruments guitar, banjo, and bass.
I received a scholarship in music to Ball State University.
I graduated in 2003 from Chilicothee, Ohio as a recording engineer.
I have had the opportunity to sing with JOE DIFFEE, TRACY LAWRENCE, MARK CHESTNUT.
I have opened shows for JOHNNY LEE, and played with TIM MCGRAW’S BAND.
I have been in many bands. I am formerly the lead singer and rhythm & lead in the SIDEKIX BAND.

Tracy McKee was Bass Player and Recording Engineer (among other things) for the SideKix Band from 2001 through 2008. Tracy is a great musician and a good friend and we will miss him on stage and off. Good Luck Bro! He left to pursue an opportunity with a young up and coming country singer named Paige Richey.
